A very interesting place. The format is a little different as there is a cary next to each table which is kinda convenient and it alleviates the server's workload but a little unorthodox IMO. They also specialize in tendon which is a new thing to me. What struck me was the super clean and minimalist interior. I kinda liked that aspect of it. The restaurant is located in a strip mall so all these elements added to the unorthodox nature of the restaurant. The menu has all the faves, Great selection of appetizers, Salads, Noodle bowls, Entrees, Sushi rolls/Nigiri and of course, Tendons. They also have lunch and dinner specials if that's your thing. I went with a special roll and it was quite delicious! The service was ok. Our server was a young lady and I sensed that she was either new to the profession or to the restaurant. She gave it her best though and I appreciate her effort. Overall, check it out if your a lover of Japanese cuisine. I'll definitely bring my family if were in the area.

What a gem! Everything about this place was great. The service, ambiance, and especially food was spot on. We got the softshell crab tendon bowl (fried tempura) and it was super tasty with perfectly cooked rice. We also got the shrimp tempura roll which hit the spot. I will definitely be back!

Tendon? Yes, please! Ari is a fun, casual place if you enjoy Japanese food. Forget bento, this place offers better options. From sashimi/sushi to bowls, they’re all so good. Although the price is on the higher side but the taste never disappoints. The place is bright with lots of lights, making the dining experience more enjoyable. It’s also a family-friendly place. And be sure to try their ice cream to clean your palate and because it’s refreshingly good!

We checked out Ari Sushi after spending the day at Emerald Glen park. The food was delicious and the ambiance was inviting and modern. There are a few banchan dishes next to the utensils. The prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants that serve sushi. It is definitely one of our favorites sushi restaurants in the Tri-valley.

Loved this place! The service was super friendly and made us feel really welcome. The food was delicious — everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The sushi rolls were big and definitely worth it. Great spot if you’re craving Japanese food. Will definitely be coming back!

Would definitely come back! Came here with two friends. We all agree the place has a great atmosphere - very clean (bathrooms also clean!) and the sushi was high quality and delicious. The salmon is especially delicious and tastes very fresh. Definitely on my top 5 sushi places I have been to as someone who loves raw salmon but a lot of places miss the mark. The service was also kind and welcoming. Definitely just all around a good place.

Hands down one of the best tempura I've ever had! Everything was fresh, staff is SUPER friendly, and food comes out fairly quick. Tempura, the perfect color, good crunch, perfect sauce soak. Shrimp and calamari ring cooked to firm, but tender, perfect. Veggies still crisp, heated just enough to get their natural sweetness out.
